Africa as a dump: Chocolate Royale, Nigeria

Read Time:41 Second

Another example of Africa being used as a dumping ground for expired food products and ingredients. In this case, expired food products and ingredients that were meant to be dumped, were being brought into Nigeria illegally and were actually  being used for the preparation of food and confectioneries for unsuspecting customers in Nigeria. The culprit was Chocolate Royale, a subsidiary o AIM Group owned by a Lebanese business mogul, Amin Moussali, who also owns broadcasting stations within Nigeria. Expired products worth over  1billion Naira were found and evacuated by National Agency or Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC in May 2015. This practice is unethical and is definitely bad for the people and bad for the environment!. ‪#‎AfricanLivesMatter‬
