EnvironFocus is in Nigeria – EnvironFocus Limited. Current activities include:  pilot project-Urban Gardening in Lagos, Nigeria; Community environmental education; and the development and registration of an NGO – Sustainable Waste Recycling Community of Nigeria (SWRC Nigeria). The NGO was created as a follow up to the recommendations made from our inaugural event, Eco Tours and Exhibition , held in April 2010.  More information about the event can be viewed here. SWRC Nigeria mandate is to assist in the coordination of waste recycling in Nigeria. This will be done in partnership with key stakeholders in the industry. The mandate of EnvironFocus is the transfer of knowledge, skill and technology from developed countries such as Canada to Africa. In line with this mandate, SWRC Nigeria will be run under the mentorship of Recycling Council Ontario, Canada.
