The Federal Ministry of Health Nigeria will be piloting with evidence generation, LifeStraw in selected health facilities in Nigeria with the purpose of successfully providing safely managed drinking water services within these facilities and eventually all federally owned hospitals in the country and selected Cholera epidemic – prone communities (including Schools and IDP camps in the Communities) in Nigeria.
This is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative under the Safe Drinking Water Project. A social innovation.
Organizations – international and local, interested in making this their CSR initiative are welcome. The Ministry will make all it’s resources – media, network etc. available for this project. It will be a private public partnership.
Participating businesses will get maximum exposure. It will be a collaborative effort that will be beneficial to all. The Ministry is happy to discuss and meet your organization’s requirements for participation. This project will meet the Sustainable Development Goals 3, 6,11,17.
