Webinar on the UN World Sustainable Transport Day.
Transportation is a crucial part of our everyday lives. Whether by personal vehicle, public transit, or even walking or biking, we all need a way to make our trips. Though almost 90% of Canadian Households own at least one car, with 85% of them being diesel or gasoline powered, cars continue to be one of the largest contributors to pollution (Statistics Canada, 2023). Our car-centric society has, however, led to emerging concerns surrounding its social and environmental impacts. That’s why SCAN is hosting a free webinar on the United Nations World Sustainable Transport Day.
Join SCAN’s webinar, “Driving Change: Sustainable Transport for People, Planet, and Prosperity,” to discover the ways that transportation plays a role in the bigger topic of sustainable development, social justice, and climate change.
