We are introducing our organization’s new project – Sustainable Waste Recycling Community of Nigeria (SWRC Nigeria). It is a membership based non profit organization. Its purpose is to assist in the coordination of waste recycling activities in Nigeria. We are grateful to the Recycling Council of Ontario (RCO), Canada for accepting to mentor the formation and implementation of this organization.
The RCO is the key organization in Ontario that has helped manage Ontario’s waste generation activities and shaped Ontario’s waste policy till date. We are grateful to our board of directors – Obie Agusiegbe (EnvironFocus, CEO), Adewole Taiwo (Taiwo Adewole and Associates ( CEO), Bekeme Masade (CSR – in – Action, ED) , Chigo Ukaenwe-Ekwensi (UBA group, Head of Expatriate banking/Product Manager) and Jo-Anne St. Goddard (RCO, ED) for accepting to come on board to govern the formation and implementation of SWRC Nigeria.
