If we replace the time spent watering and weeding our flower beds, lawns and shrubs with time caring for our gardens, in return we eat good food that will nourish our bodies and keep money in our pockets.
We can farm our way out of poverty and food insecurity. Nigeria is blessed with fertile soil that can grow plants all year round unlike temperate countries, like Canada, that normally have a 4 months window to grow these plants outdoors. Nigeria and Africa as a whole should take advantage of the blessings she has been given. People should take responsibility for their lives, one crop at a time.
